Lyndsy Kinghorn is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years experience in Emergency Medicine. She started her career as an Emergency Department RN and then went on to obtain her Nurse Practitioner. She the continued to care for acutely ill patients full time until 2021 when she opened FOUNDATION Functional Medicine & Aesthetics. A few years ago, while working in the Emergency Department, Lyndsy decided she wanted to help patients in a different and deeper way. She realized that traditional medicine typically treats patients symptoms instead of finding the reasons behind the symptoms and she started to ask WHY? This question led her to pivot and focus on root cause medicine. Her desire is to spend more time, dig deeper, and find and treat the cause - not just manage symptoms.
This passion led her to explore the American Academy of Anti-Aging Fellowship Program (A4M) and complete her board exam to become a member of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners. She has also completed a fellowship in the Precision Medicine, optimizing patients health based on their individual genetics and genomics.
This continuing education along with her background in acute care medicine have given her a greater toolbox in which to pull from to help her patients. She truly believes the future of medicine is individualized/personal medicine.

Gina Gorden, RN, CHC Gina is a registered nurse and certified health coach. As an oncology nurse, mother of young children and support for her husband as he went through rigorous medical training, Gina realized her own health was suffering as she tried to meet all the demands of life while struggling with chronic infections, wildly fluctuating weight and a rollercoaster of emotions.
Even with her and her husband’s training in conventional medicine, she felt she wasn’t getting the help or answers she needed in her own healthcare. Enter functional medicine. The root cause approach of getting to the “why” of her symptoms just made sense to her. For years she did her own research and interventions until she found the functional medicine provider she trusted to help partner with her in a thoughtful and effective plan of care.
Gina believes achieving health is a continuous process and that sustainable change is rarely a quick fix or found in a pill. This is where a qualified and knowledgeable health coach can be key. The success of many interventions in functional medicine are dependent on the habits we do every day. Gina helps you translate the “what” to do into “how” to do it. She is passionate about helping people to feel their best and be both present and purposeful in their life. Her real-life experiences and formal training make her an ideal partner in helping others find their best health.
When she isn’t nerding out on books or podcasts related to gut or brain health, she can be found spending time with her family, running or hiking in the Boise foothills, snowboarding, lifting weights, traveling, reading or exploring new dining spots.
Kari Brownsberger, CHC Kari spent 15 years in the tech industry before leaping into her true passion of health & wellness. She had a successful career climbing the ladder, working in communications, marketing, customer success, and executive management. She supported Fortune 500 clients and saw several startups through investment and exit.
All the while, her own personal wellbeing suffered for the sake of her career. Over those years she spent time, energy, and money on programs and fads, trying every diet and workout possible, chronically stressed and gaining and losing the same weight over and over again.
In 2020 she decided to address the root of these issues once and for all, desperately wanting to finally feel at home in her own body and get out of the yo-yo cycle. After doing this work herself she knew she learned invaluable lessons that could help free others from this same situation.
She achieved certifications as a nutrition, fitness, and master health coach and it is now her life’s work to help others find freedom and confidence from their own health journeys.

When seeing patients over the last few years it was obvious the missing piece in their health journey was the mental health optimization. I realize talk therapy isn’t for everyone and became very interested in the area of breathwork.
Through my own experiences I realized how powerful breath is and how much of an impact it could have on my patients journey to optimal health.
I had the pleasure of doing a one on one breathwork session with Faith and the rest is history.
Faith is a trauma informed Breathwork practitioner. Her kind spirit and delightfully soothing voice make each session the most wonderful experience.
These sessions are all about YOU and what you need; self love, trauma work, emotional release, etc. Sessions with Faith are included in all of our Programs and most of our membership offerings.

"From the moment I walked into my first appointment with Lyndsy and Gina I felt so welcomed. When I left that appointment I almost cried because for the first time it felt like I was heard. After so many other doctors I've seen, I felt like I was being gas lighted and pushed aside. Lyndsy and Gina truly have a wonderful thing at foundational functional medicine and I feel truly blessed to have found them."

"I began seeing Lyndsy & Gina in September of 2023 for several symptoms that have been bothering me for a while, mainly GI issues and extreme fatigue. My first visit was amazing, we dived into so many things and Lyndsy really listened and didn't make me feel rushed or "crazy". She explained what she was thinking and developed a plan that included concern for my well-being, comfort level and price range. I had a follow up with Lyndsy and a nurse coaching visit with Gina which was AMAZING. Again listening and offering suggestions that work for my lifestyle! My gut health is 150% better and my energy level is so much better. Anyone who is considering seeing functional medicine, please just try it. Trust me you will feel so much better on so many levels".
